Project REGION is bilateral youth exchange between Slovakia and Romania. There will be 8 young participants form both countries between 16-18 years old and their leaders. The exchange will take place in Slovakia, in a small town called Púchov. The date of the exchange is planned from 9 to 16 September 2007.
The aim of our youth exchange is to discover possibilities of young people to participate in their regions and compare these possibilities within EU. The idea of making this project came out as we realized that we know just a little about working conditions in our regions. Young people often immigrate to western countries, because they can not find good jobs at home. We will try to find solutions of this problem during our exchange.
To put our plan into practice, we will visit companies in district of Púchov. What is more, Romanian group will present the same information about their region and we will discuss differences and thinks in common. We will learn form each other how can we participate in our districts. In addition to getting to know our regions, we will work in multicultural groups and share Rumanian points of view.
